César de Brito

César de Brito has over 12 years experience in investment in the areas of sustainable development and renewable energy. He is one of the pioneers in Europe of socially responsible investment (SRI), being particularly interested in listed and unlisted companies in the sector.

Since 2009, he directly advised several private companies producing renewable energy with a combined capacity of over 2000 MW in Europe (pipeline).

Since 2004, he has been following, on the financial markets, the rapid growth of clean tech industries worldwide.

From 2007 to 2009 he was responsible for Socially Responsible Investment at the Swiss private bank Lombard Odier (€1.5 billion of SRI assets under management), where he launched and managed the "LODH Clean Tech" fund and the Clean Energy fund family, which have consistently been ranked among the best funds in their category at the European level.

From 2000 to 2007, he was portfolio manager at AXA Investment Managers in Paris, where he co-developed expertise and SRI (Socially Responsible Investment), investing in sound companies with good sustainability policy.

César is active in promoting sustainable and green investment, and has published several articles in the field and is co-author of "Socially Responsible Investing" (Oxford University Press, 2005, Journal of Financial Economics, 2006). He is also a lecturer on the subject at the University of Paris IX-Dauphine and several business schools in Paris.

Cesar holds a master's degree in finance from the University of Paris IX-Dauphine. He speaks fluent French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
